Stacy Cannon, Director
Stacy Cannon became the Director of the Planned Giving and Endowments office in January 2006 after serving as the Associate Director since 2002. Before joining University Advancement, she served as the Director of Advancement for Cal Poly’s Orfalea College of Business. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Denver. Prior to joining her husband’s alma mater and becoming a proud member of the Cal Poly family, Stacy was a development professional at the University of Colorado for five years and at the University of California Santa Barbara for two years. Stacy has lived in San Luis Obispo since 1998.  She enjoys spending time with her children, golfing, cycling and fly fishing, among other athletic pursuits.

Adam Jarman, Assistant Director
Adam Jarman has been the Assistant Director of Planned Giving and Endowments since July 2006. He came to the Planned Giving and Endowments team from Cal Poly’s Advancement Programs department, where he planned donor recognition and stewardship. A Cal Poly alumnus, Adam earned his Bachelor of Science in journalism and Master of Public Policy degrees here and worked as a journalist before returning to campus in a professional capacity. Adam has lived in San Luis Obispo since 1998 and enjoys cooking, traveling, gardening and spending time with his dog, Tobey.

Jenny Heckendorf, Administrative Assistant
Jenny Heckendorf received her Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly’s College of Agriculture in June of 2004 and spent the next year in Chicago before returning to the university and joining the Planned Giving and Endowments office as its Administrative Assistant. Born and raised in the Central Valley, Jenny has been a San Luis Obispo resident for over 6 years and enjoys spending her leisure time outdoors on the Central Coast playing soccer, bouldering and running.
